Florin Mugur (February 7, 1934 in Bucharest, Romania – February 9, 1991) was a Romanian-Jewish poet, essayist, editor, and prose writer. Had his literary debut at the age of 13, and published his first book at the age of 19.〔http://www.pro-saeculum.ro/arhiva/37/art12%20mug.pdf〕 He was one of the editors of the Cartea Românească publishing house, and Vice Editor in Chief of the Argeș magazine. He was a close friend of Norman Manea.
